Initial consultation

A detailed medical case history will be taken and a full range of neurological and orthopaedic tests will be carried out to assess mechanical movement of the joints and spine. The report of findings and treatment plan will be clearly explained to you using spinal models before treatment commences. If x-rays are required to assist in diagnosis, we can arrange this on the day or obtain copies of any recent x-rays or MRI scans you have had. We use the x-ray facilities at Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishops Stortford and the Rivers Hospital in High Wych. Should you require further investigations for an underlying condition for which other treatment may be appropriate you will be referred to your GP or relevant specialist.
